Applications
Scholarship applications are due April 18.
Jeanie has these forms. New applications must be completed each year in order
to be eligible for any financial
assistance.
Parent
Conferences and Report Cards
The end of our 3rd Quarter is
April 11. Parent conferences will be Friday, April 12. We hope to see all our
families then!
Course
Choice Forms
We will be sending out course choice forms for
the 2013-14 school year to high school and 8th grade students. These
will be sent home on April 17 and must be returned no later than Wednesday April 24.
April 15
Effective Date New Security Policy
Reminder: All clinicians not employed
by Vanguard will be required to have a current credential (copy of their
license) and a criminal background check on file (provided by the clinician).
After April l5, clinicians will no longer be able to see students at school
unless we have this information on file.
Beach
Trip
We are really looking forward to our
upcoming beach trip May 27 thru 31! If
you haven’t made your final payment, please do so as soon as possible. We will
see you on the 27th!
High
School Gaming Event
From 6:00-8:00 on
April 18, the High School will host an evening of video gaming, snacks and a
pizza dinner. The cost will be $6.00 per student. Hope to see all our high
schoolers there.
Annual
Achievement Testing
We have begun annual achievement testing.
Lower school students are tested individually each year. We will do either
individual or group testing for middle school and high school. Those who
receive group achievement testing will be using the Stanford Achievement Test.
Testing will be completed by the end of the fourth quarter.
New Mexico Trip
Save the date! Flyers are coming soon with
information on the New Mexico
trip for Middle and High School students.
R & R Adventures will be returning to Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu the
week of August 5 thru 11.
Parent
Association News
Stella & Dot will hold a trunk show on
Thursday, April 11 at 8:30 am in the gym. Proceeds from the show will benefit

Lock-In:
The After School Enrichment Program will
have a lock-in for lower and middle school students on Friday, April 19 from
6:00 pm to 8:00 am. Enrollment forms are on the school’s website or at the
front desk. Parents must return enrollment forms no later than Wednesday, April
17 in order to provide staffing.
